Open Thread: Baltimore Ravens at San Diego Chargers, Second Half

Philip Rivers has avoided mistakes and Joe Flacco has looked terrible, leading to a 10-0 score in favor of the Chargers heading into the second half.

Chris Humphreys-US PRESSWIRE

Philip Rivers, as expected, has not had much time to operate (he's been sacked 4 times). Unexpected is that Rivers has remembered how to throw the ball away instead of running out of the pocket and trying to make a play. Danario Alexander and Malcom Floyd both had a tremendous first half, with 6 catches for 106 yards and TD between them.

Simply by avoiding mistakes, the Chargers find themselves with a 10-0 lead at halftime over the Baltimore Ravens. Oh, and also because Joe Flacco has been terrible and is overthrowing all of his receivers by about 10 yards. As long as those two things continue, San Diego could be in for a positive Sunday night for the first time in a while.

Atari Bigby and Donald Butler have both left the game with groin injuries and their return in the second half is questionable.
