I've always been a big Rivers fan, but he has not been as sharp this season. His play has been a bit uneven but when I watch him, I still see a high-level understanding of the game. The Chargers aren't running the ball as well as they need to, because I think Rivers' best reads are the result of play-action.

One guy to watch - Bill Williamson
The Chargers offense needs a boost and Meachem needs to step up when they travel to face his former team, the Saints. He signed a lucrative contract with San Diego this offseason. Meachem has not done much for the Chargers. He has six catches and he has been shut out in two games.

I think Rivers is a tad underranked. His numbers are down, but he has been efficient and is not working with a great supporting cast right now.
