Last week, after I urged you all to go make your picks in Pick 6 Football on SB Nation, I promised myself I would make mine. Then I was sitting on my couch watching Thursday Night Football and realized I hadn't made them. Yes, guys, that's right. I reminded all of you to make your picks then sat there like a goon and failed to make my own. I am deeply ashamed.
Pick 6 Football is a simple game conceptually, but there is a great deal of guesswork skill involved. Each week we all start with the same budget ($120) and the same goal: put together a combination of players (QB, WR, RB, TE, K & Wild Card) that will score more points than any other. Try to pick guys that are expensive and don't score many points so that I have a chance. Thanks.
Remember that popular players (as measured by how often people choose them for this contest) will go up in price, so less popular players will likely be more cost effective.
Congratulations to member, Its Mikey!! (another guy that's been around a while, I like this trend), for finishing 1st on the Bolts from the Blue leader board in Week 4 and 61st (ouch, step it up guys) overall out of over 2,500 participants on the network. That's sort of impressive, I guess. This week's last place finisher, JereLLo, is an actual BFTB member. He's a Lakers and USC fan, though, so I'm not sure about him. Check out Its Mikey!!'s team below.
