32 Observations: Week 7 - Nathan Jahnke
Kendall Reyes (2-49) is the only rookie outside of Melvin Ingram with more than seven snaps with the Chargers. He made an impact against the Raiders and Saints with five quarterback hits and four hurries in those two games, but he only has one hurry and no other pressure in the four other games.
Offensive Line Rankings - Khaled Elsayed
There’s been too little of Jared Gaither on the field. This entire unit looks a different proposition when he’s fit and healthy. Without him life seems a lot harder for Philip Rivers.
Poll results: TowelGate is a big deal - Bill Williamson
If Turner is right, I don’t think this is a huge deal. If he is wrong, it is a big deal. In the end, I could see the Chargers being made an example of, but unless there is more evidence we don’t currently know about, this is fairly minor and it is not in the scope of Spygate or BountyGate. But time will tell.
Rivers Optomistic [sic] Heading into Cleveland - Ricky Henne
"We’ve been 3-3 plenty of times," he said. "We’ve been 3-3 and gone to the AFC Championship, we’ve been 3-3 and gone to 4-8 and then won a playoff game that year, and we’ve been 3-3 and finished 13-3. So 3-3 is not a foreign place to us…And I think the biggest thing is there is nothing I can say that can get us 10 weeks from now. We have to go do it."
Fantasy Football Week 8: Start and Sit - Eddie Brown
The Browns have allowed 170 yards rushing per game to opponents outside of their division this season. If Ryan Mathews (Chargers) is going to pay back owners who drafted him early, despite the shoulder injury, this is a good week to start.
Trent Richardson injury: Browns running back insists he will play, fantasy value holds steady - Kenneth Arthur
Fantasy Take: Banged up and facing a Chargers defense ranked first against the run, Richardson seems like a possible sit this week, even if he is one of your top two backs. He does possess the ability to make plays through the passing game, but this is a questionable game to start him if you have another option.
NFL picks and predictions Week 8: Most experts see Browns losing to Chargers - Satchel Price
The Cleveland Browns have won just once this season in spite of being competitive in many of their games, leaving experts pessimistic that they'll be able to upset the San Diego Chargers on Sunday. Even having lost three of their past four games, the Chargers are seen as obvious favorites.
