Danario Alexander is a name that some San Diego Chargers fans might remember. In 2010, Alexander made his first NFL catch against the Bolts and finished the game with 72 yards and a touchdown off of four catches.
Alexander stands at 6'5" and weighs in at about 220 lbs., making him another big target for Philip Rivers to go along with Malcom Floyd and Antonio Gates.
Alexander was a first-team All American during his senior season at Missouri in 2009. In 13 games, Danario caught 113 passes for 1,781 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns. He was considered a mid-round prospect in the 2010 NFL Draft before undergoing knee surgery. His short NFL career has, to this point, been plagued by an inability to stay healthy and on the field.
Alexander caught 26 passes for 431 yards and 2 TDs for the St. Louis Rams last season, but did not make the final roster cut at the end of preseason in 2012.
