Injury Report: Miami Dolphins at San Diego Chargers

San Diego Chargers

Out
Luis Castillo, DE (tibia)
Jacques Cesaire, DE (knee)

Doubtful
Antonio Gates, TE (foot)
Quentin Jammer, CB (hamstring)

Questionable
Malcom Floyd, WR (groin)
Vincent Jackson, WR (abdomen)

Probable
Na'il Diggs, LB (groin)
Corey Liuget, DE (ankle)
Ryan Mathews, RB (foot)

That's a very full injury report for the Bolts, and everyone on that list except for Diggs and Cesaire are starters. Just like every other team in the NFL, if the Chargers are going to be one of the best teams in the league this year they are going to need big contributions from backup players. This is their time to shine.

Miami Dolphins

Out
Tony McDaniel, DE (hand)

Questionable
Vontae Davis, CB (hamstring)
Koa Misi, LB (neck)
Daniel Thomas, RB (hamstring)
Will Allen, CB (hamstring)
Vernon Carey, G (shoulder)
Robert Wallace, WR (quad)

It would appear that Tony Sparano is one of those coaches that is never accurate with his injury statuses because he doesn't want to give too much info to the opposing team. Daniel Thomas, the starting RB, and Vontae Davis, who might be the Fins' best CB, are listed as "Questionable" but are definitely out after reports that neither player traveled with the team to San Diego
