Have an idea how good this team is going to be?

"Well, I think we can be really good, we've got a long ways to go though.  First two preseason games we cruised along and didn't have many bumps in the road and Saturday we had a few hiccups.  I think it was good for us though, to deal with some adversity here in the preseason when it doesn't count, let's see how we react.  So, we've got a few weeks now before the opener, so we gotta bear down."

How do you explain not getting off to good starts and how do you promise that it won't happen this year?

"I wish I could promise, but no.  I do think we're going to get off to a good start.  I mean, obviously that's what we've emphasized all camp.  Really from an offensive stand point, it's all about not turning the football over.  Last year statistically, we were playing as well as we've ever played offensively the first eight weeks of the season.  But, in a turnover statistic, which in large part is the most direct correlation to wins and loses, we had like 16 turnovers in the first eight weeks. That was as many as we had the whole 13-3 season, the year previous.  If we don't turn it over offensively, we feel we can get off to a good start."

Give me the clean version of you talking trash during the game.

(Laughs) "They're all clean, every version is clean."

There is never one that goes outside the line?

"No, I can go home and share all of them with mom or wife, or anybody."
