For weeks people have been guessing how the offseason would start once the lockout ended. We now have our answer: Undrafted Free Agents start agreeing to deals almost immediately. The news is all over twitter already. The early wave doesn't include any Chargers signings, but I will keep everyone posted. I'll add them to this article as soon as I hear anything. Most of these will be unofficial and subject to change, but if history tells us anything then about 90% of these reports will be accurate.
One of the best sources for gathering this info in the past has been www.nepatriotsdraft.com (for whatever reason) and it looks like they are right on top of things again this year.
Some have asked me to speculate on what players we'll pick up. That's tough to guess since we're dealing with a very large pool of relatively similar players with very little information. I also don't have all my draft knowledge still fresh in my head. I'm thinking the Chargers will be looking at some of the more accomplished players at S, ILB, WR and TE. They'll probably pick up some bodies at CB and RB. And then try to find some sleepers on the offensive line per usual.
UPDATE: The Chargers have released an official list of the 19 UDFAs signed today. The press release and the final list is below:

The San Diego Chargers have signed 19 undrafted free agent players, including 12 on offense.
The list of free agents includes five wide receivers, former Wisconsin quarterback Scott Tolzien and defensive end Mike Blanc from the 2011 BCS National Champion Auburn Tigers.
