So here's what you've all been waiting for. Steve Adler, who runs the even-less-frequently-updated-than-BFTB Chargers blog High Boltage and the fantasy sports site Fantasy Daddy, will essentially be taking over the BFTB podcasts. The new Frankenstein of podcasts is called "High Boltage Radio on Boltsfromtheblue.com", but what's in a name?

Here's why I asked Steve to "take over":

  1. We work well together, if only because Steve keeps me from rambling for too long.
  2. Steve's an A.J. Smith/Norv Turner "hater". This means there will be some fun, heated moments in the future.
  3. Steve is a better interviewer than I am. If you've ever heard his Friarhood podcasts, you know what I'm talking about. He also has more time/patience to do the interviews that we are offered. So expect more/better ones starting now-ish.

Instead of a weekly show at a set day/time with callers and all that, we're going to start by doing the show whenever we're both free. This will help eliminate those weeks where I miss the show due to scheduling conflicts. So if you want us to answer a question you have, you can always shoot me an e-mail and ask me to read it during the next show. Next week we'll be covering free agency. This week, we revisited the San Diego Chargers' draft pick-by-pick.
