The big news today is that the Owners and the Players Union are meeting in Washington today and tomorrow to discuss a new CBA. While it is a bit encouraging that they're wasting no time (less than 72 hours after the conclusion of the Super Bowl), there is plenty of ground that needs to be covered, and quickly.
We've all been told to hope for the best, but expect the worst. We know that both sides want there to be a 2011 NFL season, no one wants a lockout, but I'm not holding by breath that anything will be done. If there's a CBA in place by the Draft, I'll be pleasantly surprised.
