The Chargers are making one of those December runs. Tomorrow we find out if they can keep the magic running. The Lions pulled off a big victory in Oakland last week, Chargers fans can only hope that the Lions will have a bit of an emotional let down this week. Enough real football, let's get into the fake stuff.

Rankings:

QB - 19

HB - 9

WR -19

TE - 7

Philip Rivers - Rivers has been on fire, throwing 16 touchdowns over the last seven games. Teams have been able to throw on the Lions defense this season, and this Saturday should be no different. Prediction: 240 yards and two touchdowns.

Ryan Mathews -Mathews is playing like a man possessed. Mathews had five double digit games to start the season, followed by five single digit games, followed by four double digit games. I'm sure you see where I'm going with this. Prediction: 125 total yards and a touchdown

Mike Tolbert - Tolbert is always a threat to get into the end zone. I would expect much more than that. Prediction: 45 total yards and a touchdown

Vincent Jackson - Jackson is always up and down, but at this point he is questionable for the game Saturday. He is a flex play at best right now. If you have a solid morning option, it's not worth the risk passing up a player you know will be on the field. Prediction: Four catches for 45 yards (if he plays).

Malcom Floyd - Floyd will benefit if Jackson doesn't play. I would feel comfortable with putting Floyd in as a flex play if Jackson ends up sitting. Prediction: four catches for 80 yards and a touchdown (if Jackson sits).

Antonio Gates - The Lions have been tough on tight ends this year, then again, they haven't played a lot of good tight ends. When they have been matched up against the better TE's, they have allowed points. Prediction: six catches for 80 yards and a touchdown.
