Top 5 Defensive Plays vs the Bills

With the Chargers defense giving up only three points to the Buffalo Bills this week, there were certainly a lot of defensive highlights to pick from.

Top Defensive Play #5 features the Chargers sack leader Antwan Barnes doing his thing against old man Fitzpatrick. Fitzpatrick would have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for those darn kids.

Top Defensive Play #4 has everything you would ever want in a defense clip. It was a last ditch fourth down try, there was a sufficient pass rush, excellent downfield coverage, and quality containment on a scrambling QB. This play wasn't exactly a nervous moment for San Diego, but it pretty much sealed the win.

Top Defensive Play #3 features Antoine Cason barely saving face by making a great recovery with a receiver way behind him on a deep ball. In a closer game, the uncalled pass interference would have been a hot debate topic. In real time, this looked like perfect timing. In slow motion he was definitely there a hair early, but enough to warrant a PI call.

Top Defensive Play #2 is the first of two safety interceptions. Last week, Eric Weddle got an assist from Cason; this week he got a little help from the backside of Na'il Diggs.

Top Defensive Play #1 is of course, the Steve Gregory Pick Six due to pressure from Shaun Phillips. It's been a looooong time since San Diego has returned an interception for a touchdown, and this one was refreshing.
