Chargers

Out
Luis Castillo, DE (tibia)

Questionable
Antonio Gates, TE (foot)

Probable
Jacques Cesaire, DE (knee)
Marcus Gilchrist, CB (knee)
Jacob Hester, RB (foot)
Vincent Jackson, WR (hamstring)
Mike Tolbert, RB (concussion)

No surprises here, except that on the Chargers injury report they listed Mike Tolbert as "Michael Tolbert". Is that a thing? Does he want to be called Michael now? Is this like when Michael Vick insisted that he only be referred to as "Mike Vick"?

Sounds like everyone on that list should play, they're just being cautious with Gates.

Jets

Out
Logan Payne, WR (wrist)
Isaiah Trufant, DB (hamstring)

Questionable
Mike DeVito, DL (knee)
Nick Mangold, C (ankle)

Probable
Marquice Cole, DB (hamstring)
Antonio Cromartie, CB (groin)
Marcus Dixon, DL (knee)
Joe McKnight, RB (knee)
Ropati Pitoitua, DL (knee)
Tanner Purdum, LS (low back)
Donald Strickland, DB (concussion)
LaDainian Tomlinson, RB
Muhammad Wilkerson, DL (shoulder)

That looks like a team ready for the bye.

Tomlinson's missed day at practice wasn't health related, which leads me to believe that he got a day off to rest his old legs. The most important name on that list is Nick Mangold, who is key to the Jets running game and will be matched up against Antonio Garay.
