It's been quite a busy day for the Chargers and their personnel today. Not only has Marcus McNeill signed his tender, but some more players have been shuffled.
With Ryan Mathews missing this Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks, the Chargers felt like they needed more depth at running back, so they signed Curtis Brinkley from the practice squad. To make room for him, the team released cornerback Dante Hughes.
This leaves 4 cornerbacks on the teams 53-man roster. This doesn't impact too much as Dante Hughes was already listed as 3rd on the Depth Chart, behind Donald Strickland.
