A disappointing end to a disappointing season comes full circle, with probably the lowest number of Pro Bowl selections for the team during Norv Turner's run as Head Coach.

The representatives for the San Diego Chargers will be QB Philip Rivers (3rd Pro Bowl), LG Kris Dielman (4th Pro Bowl) and TE Antonio Gates (7th Pro Bowl). This despite Gates appearing in only 10 games this season for the Bolts. Congrats go to all three of these great guys and tremendous athletes.

Dielman and Gates are the only Pro Bowl starters from the San Diego squad. Marcus McNeillAntonio Garay and Shaun Phillips are also listed as alternates and will make the trip if the guys ahead of them at their positions turn down the opportunity or are too injured to play.

It's not much of a consolation prize for missing the playoffs, but each of these men can continue to hold their heads high and know that they have the respect of their peers as one of the best to play their position.
