Despite not owning a road win on the season, the San Diego Chargers are still favorites going into today's game against the Houston Texans. As a Charger fan, I have a hard time buying that. Granted, the Texans have an atrocious pass defense, but they'll be facing a San Diego offense that is without Antonio Gates, Malcom Floyd, Legedu Naanee, or Buster Davis. I have a lot of confidence in Philip Rivers, but he's running out of guys to throw the ball to.
Oh, well. Maybe Patrick Crayton or Seyi Ajirotutu will have a big day. And I suppose it isn't impossible that one or more of Ryan Mathews, Darren Sproles and Mike Tolbert contribute significantly. Again, Houston's defense kind of sucks. Go Chargers!
