The Re-Launch of SBNation.com

New, comments

We are lucky here at SB Nation HQ. We have an outstanding network of 212 (and growing) sports communities, which enables us to be in a constant dialog with fans and to gauge what is important to you. While the old SBNation.com site served its purpose as a directory of our awesome individual sports communities, you let us know you wanted our flagship site to do more. You wanted the same high quality fan perspectives and conversations on a national level that each of our individual sites offer for their respective teams and sports.

Have you guys checked out the redesigned SBNation.com yet?  How about the newly-minted NFL section of the site?  You certainly should.  Not only is it a collection of breaking news stories, with the new StoryStream technology you'll be able to stay updated on all of the stories that matter to you.  In a nutshell, there's no longer a reason to go to the "big guys" sports sites for news...you can get it all right here!  This goes a long way towards making SBNation one of the most important sports websites on the internet, if it wasn't one already.

Here's a real-life situation that explains how cool the StoryStream is.  I am done with checking the Twitter pages of Tila Tequila and Shawne Merriman, and just as done with looking through lawyer statements and trying to figure out who's lying in all of this mess.  It seems like you guys are too.  However, I checked the StorySteam for this news item this morning and saw a new news item from 10 News with accounts of why Tila Tequila did what she did last weekend (it may not be safe for work).  Without me having to leave SB Nation, I am updated on the story and can move along with my day.  No longer will you have to search around for news updates, we'll do it for you.  How cool is that?

Questions and/or feedback are welcome in the comments.  Also, if you have a Twitter account please help us to make SB nation a trending topic today by tagging your tweets with #sbnation.
