Check out this post on why the Chargers do not make any business sense and why their management is doing a terrible job.
IT ONLY DOES EVERYTHING... INCLUDING THE NFL!
Are you ready for some … labor negotiations? Yes, the National Football League held a nice Super Bowl just a couple weeks ago... It was the most-watched TV program in U.S. history. So: everyone in the NFL family must be happy, right?
Simply put, the San Diego Chargers need to fire Norv Turner. I have never been a fan of Turner and was always against the firing of Marty Schottenheimer. Marty was never able to lead the Chargers to a playoff win, unlike Turner, but he was a hard nosed coach that made sure his players were ready to play. Under Schottenheimer, LaDainian Tomlinson was a beast and probably the best running back in the league, while Norv Turner’s scheme helped in the decline of this great player. The one great thing that has come out of Turner coaching the Chargers is the growth of Philip Rivers. Turner is an offensive guru and he deserves a lot of credit for the development of Rivers. Even with this fact, the Chargers can not win the Super Bowl under Norv Turner.
Nice to hear something positive...
More of the same uplifting stuff from Hacksaw...
A look at getting in the head of the rookie QB.
Looks like it will be a great match-up. I wonder how the loss of Chris Henry will effect their play. Also, here are the expert picks for the game: http://www.sdnn.com/sandiego/2009-12-18/sports/sdnn-expert-picks-chargers-bengals
No surprises at all here. The only area that the Raiders have the advantage at is secondary and d-line. Nnamdi Asomugha is sick. Hopefully Jackson has a little luck against him. What do you guys think?
