Ryan Kerrigan NFL Draft Scouting Report

3

More love for Dove. This time it's for Mocking The Draft's Jon Dove's scouting report on potential Chargers target (and Kevin Acee crush) Ryan Kerrigan.

2011 NFL Draft Defensive Value Chart

Part 2 of the cheat sheet developed by Jon Dove at SBN's Mocking The Draft site. It divides up which players would be targets in each of the 3 rounds and then further break them up by position. It's a great way for when your team's pick is coming up, and you know you want a player that plays a certain position, to see who is left and worthy of that pick.

Think of this as a sort of draft cheat sheet. Jon Dove at SBN's Mocking The Draft site had an idea to divide up which players would be targets in each of the 3 rounds and then further break them up by position. It's a great way for when your team's pick is coming up, and you know you want a player that plays a certain position, to see who is left and worthy of that pick.

Aaron Williams NFL Draft scouting report

+

Aaron Williams is a big CB from Texas, much like our own Quentin Jammer. He's athletic and fast enough to play CB, but could project as a S. He rates somewhere between being the 3rd best CB in the draft and maybe the 6th best. The Chargers could be interested since there is almost no depth behind Jammer and Cason and A.J. Smith has been known to look towards the future when it comes to CBs. I can't imagine the Chargers using their 1st rounder on him, but I could imagine him slipping to us in the 2nd round and being the best player available. He's not a favorite to be a future Charger, but he's somewhere on the radar.

Justin Houston NFL Draft Scouting Report

+

Justin Houston currently projects as a late 1st round-early 2nd round type of player. BFTB Scouting didn't pick up on him until towards the end of the college football season, but that was only because he was a Junior. He's a 3-4 OLB, who actually played 3-4 OLB in college. Most likely the Chargers would only target Houston if they traded down in the 1st round, traded up in the 2nd or he falls a little farther than most project. Still worth keeping an eye on though.
