Huh? Dr. Chao as an expert?

3

I just stumbled upon this article at National Football Post written by a Mr. David Chao. Apparently, he's been writing for them since October. I just can't settle on my feelings about this: are we all too critical of Chao, or is the NFP (one of my favourite sites) just not as reliable as I hoped?

More reasons to love the Hawks (especially Russell Wilson).

+

I have never been a Russell Wilson fan, but I am now. You guys should check this out if you haven't already seen it. Never knew about his dad, but I think that it's pretty cool. As is Russell's recognition of SD. I was undecided on who to root for in the SuperBowl until I read this. The straw that broke the donkey's back if you will.

In case you don't have enough reason to want the 'Hawks to be champs

Great feature from 2007 called "23 Reasons Why a Profile of Pete Carroll Does Not Appear in This Space," published in LA Magazine. Despite its title, it is essentially a profile piece, though unconventionally structured. At the time, Carroll was the Head Coach at USC. A fun (albeit lengthy) read for anyone looking for a good read.

Wild Card Win: Eric Weddle Mic'd Up

Safety Eric Weddle was wired for sound during Sunday's 27-10 Wild Card victory in Cincinnati.

Rich Ohrnberger : Hometown Hero

+

Rich Ohrnberger didn't have time to be nervous. Once he saw that Chargers center Nick Hardwick had suffered a neck injury in the first quarter of Sunday's playoff game against the Bengals, it was right to work. "Just a few practice snaps on the sidelines, and that was pretty much it," said Ohrnberger, 27, who starred at East Meadow High School. But Ohrnberger, playing in his first career playoff game, did a terrific job in place of Hardwick, regarded as one of the top centers in football. He helped the Chargers rush for 196 yards and two touchdowns in a 27-10 win over the Bengals.

If Tim Tebow did start as Jaguars' QB, would the Chargers Lose?

1

Fans in Jacksonville want Tim Tebow as their Jaguar QB. Let's say that the Jaguars sign him & then start Tebow against the Chargers in Week 7. Are we to believe that Tebow would improve the Jaguars' chances at beating the Chargers?

Cowboys' Targeting Manti Te'o: Big Mistake!

+

It would be a huge mistake for Dallas to target Manti Te'o, as such a tactic would backfire on them.
