I believe the Chargers have a relatively "easier" schedule this season than other teams, so it's important that San Diego gets at least 11 wins to secure a playoff spot.

Deacon Jones, a Charger player for the 1972 and 1973 Chargers, died of natural causes in his Los Angeles home yesterday. Jones was part of the Rams "Fearsome Foursome" from 1967 - 1971 before being traded to the Chargers prior to the 1972 season.
