QBs in Focus: By Route - Steve Palazzolo
The in-route has varying levels of usage, from the deep dig favored by Philip Rivers to the shallow in-route common to Peyton Manning and his “levels” concept. Rivers’ average depth of target (12.1) vs. Manning’s (8.0) is a good indicator of how each quarterback uses the route.

QBs in Focus: Screens - Steve Palazzolo

5 things to watch for in Chargers minicamp - Eric Williams
One of the things defensive coordinator John Pagano continues to emphasize during organized team activities is every defensive player relentlessly pursuing the ball to the echo of the whistle. With improved effort and pursuit, Pagano hopes to curb big plays in the secondary and create more turnovers.

Bolts add Adrian Phillips, cut D.J. Adams - Eric Williams
At 5-10 and 210 pounds, the University of Texas product started all 13 games at safety in 2013. Phillips was an honorable mention All-Big 12 selection, finishing second on the team in tackles (82).
