Rich Ohrnberger didn't have time to be nervous. Once he saw that Chargers center Nick Hardwick had suffered a neck injury in the first quarter of Sunday's playoff game against the Bengals, it was right to work. "Just a few practice snaps on the sidelines, and that was pretty much it," said Ohrnberger, 27, who starred at East Meadow High School. But Ohrnberger, playing in his first career playoff game, did a terrific job in place of Hardwick, regarded as one of the top centers in football. He helped the Chargers rush for 196 yards and two touchdowns in a 27-10 win over the Bengals.
