Per Adam Caplan on Twitter, the San Diego Chargers have agreed to terms on a two-year deal with former Eagle OT King Dunlap. The newly signed Dunlap can play either left or right tackle, so he gives the Chargers some flexibility in that regard. Per Pro Football Focus, his strength is as a pass blocker and he did a more than adequate job of preventing pressure in Philadelphia this past season. He's not a great run blocker, though, and that poses some level of concern.

Without salary figures yet, it's hard to say what role Dunlap is expected to play. He represents an upgrade in the passing game over Jeromey Clary if he slides over to the right side and is less injury prone than Jared Gaither on the left. He's also a better player in every single area than Michael Harris, but that's not saying much as Harris couldn't have started for the Arizona Cardinals in 2012.

This is certainly splashier than the John Phillips signing, but Dunlap isn't a name that's going to sell many season tickets either. Chargers fans waiting on a big move can keep right on waiting.
