The waiting period is over. Today, at 1pm Pacific, free agency officially begins. Teams looking to land a big fish free agent will be standing outside that player's front door waiting for the exact second that they can start knocking and offer him a contract.

For what it's worth, the San Diego Chargers' team plane is in Georgia today. That may or may not be related to free agency or football at all.

The news will be coming fast and furious this afternoon, evening and well into the night. I'll obviously be covering all of the news regarding new or former San Diego Chargers, but use this open thread to talk about all the moves that happen today.
