Hey y'all. I'm here from BCC, SB Nation's Jacksonville Jaguars Blog. I know y'all haven't played your game yet verses the Indianapolis Colts, but I had some time right now so I wanted to go ahead and have this thread ready for after the Colts-Chargers game tonight. Speaking of which, good "Luck" tonight.
Anyways, on to next Sunday's game.
The Jaguars may be 0-6, but they did put up a good fight. We had TWO rookie Safeties going up against Peyton Manning, and our secondary held him under 300 yards passing. There were also a total of four turnovers. The Broncos' Center botched two snaps that we recovered, their RB Montee Ball fumbled and we recovered it (we turned it into 3 points), and Peyton Manning threw a pick 6 to MLB Paul Posluzny, who took it back 59 yards for a TD.
Offense, we didn't do very well. WR Justin Blackmon had 14 receptions for 190 yards. WR Cecil
Shorts left the game with a sling, "OW" Denard Robinson had his best game so far, with zero fumbles and two rushing yards. LT Eugen Monroe was traded to the Ravens for a fourth and fifth round pick, and then just three days later, 2nd Overall Pick Luke Joeckel went down with an ankle injury, and was placed on IR as it turned out to be a high ankle fracture on his right ankle, which required surgery.
Anyways, Here's a few questions for y'all:
1. How has Philip Rivers been this season?
2. Strengths/weaknesses of the Offense?
3. Strengths/weaknesses of the Defense?
4. Any injuries?
Good luck for these two games!
