Hey guys. It's been a while since we've all gotten out of our mother's basement and broke liquid bread together. By that I mean....when was the last time we all watched some San Diego Chargers football together? The last time I can (barely) remember was when we all watched the Bolts beat the Colts like a bazillion to one and Peyton Manning threw a hundred interceptions. That was a solid night.

The main reason I don't organize more of these get-togethers is because I prefer to focus 100% of my attention on the game itself. I even take notes while watching. Ever try taking notes at a bar? Well, I haven't and wouldn't.

Anyway, I'm going to let you in on a secret. There's a Chargers game coming on in three days, sure to not be blacked out in San Diego, and I don't really care about it. I won't be taking notes and I'll barely be paying attention. Seems like a good time for all of us to meet someplace and "watch" it together, right? Right.

Oh, also, I made a sacred oath that I would eat my own hat before the start of the 2012 season. So, I'll be bringing a hat to this viewing party and you can all watch as I do my best to eat a bite of it during halftime. I'm sure that any of you watching would be doing so out of disgust and not entertainment value, so that time could also be used for bathroom breaks, deep thought or a cigarette (outside)..
