Welcome back to Fantasy Football season. Last year I ran 4 leagues, including a league just for the staff. I'll probably do the same this year, but for now I'm starting with one league. I'm using Yahoo's feature of renewing leagues to keep the history alive, but in order to provide diversity and eliminate some of the stragglers from last year I will only invite the champions of each league to return. The rest of the spots are up for grabs.

As the commissioner I have the power to run the league however I like. So the settings are the ones that I find interesting. If you don't like them, you don't have to play. Same goes for the draft date. This one will come up quick as I've schedule it for the same time as the first preseason game: Sunday, August 5, 5 pm. If you can't make that draft time, I highly suggest you don't enter. The leagues are more fun when everybody is at the draft and everybody plays all season. If that's not going to be you, then don't join.

Here are the key settings I'll be going with this season: 12 teams, 2 divisions, 4 playoff spots. It's a PPR league, but only .25 points per reception. Yes, decimals count. QB, WR, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, W/R/T, K, DEF are the starting spots with 2 IR and 6 bench. I'm not going to claim the rest of the settings are the defaults, but they shouldn't matter to much.
