I'm sure by now you've heard that LaDainian Tomlinson was asked if he'd rather be a Hall of Fame player without a Super Bowl ring or a Super Bowl champion without a place in the Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. Tomlinson answered the way we claim that we always want players to answer, "honestly." The Hall of Fame bound former Charger replied that he'd take being in the Hall over having a Super Bowl ring. As you would expect, this answer has opened him up to criticism.
I personally find it hard to argue with his stance, though. Who would rather be three-time Super Bowl champion Kevin Faulk than future first ballot Hall of Famer LaDainian Tomlinson? I'd say nobody, but plenty of people are stupid and/or intellectually dishonest. Hopefully, at least a few of you are anyway, otherwise there isn't going to be much discussion.
