Remember that Offensive Tackle I talked about the San Diego Chargers signing the other day? The kid that went undrafted and was then cut by the Cowboys? Taylor Dever? Instead of being camp fodder for the Bolts, he's decided to ride off into the sunset of retirement at the tender age of 23. Must be nice.
Other news out of Chargers Park is that the team has been toying with the Wildcat offense once again, which pairs nicely with the recent signing of Ronnie Brown. Norv Turner insists he's doing it just to get the defense prepared for it. Sure, Norv. I hear you. *wink*
Also, if Antonio Gates looks great and stay healthy this year, you'll hear plenty about how he's lost a little weight in hopes of extending his playing career. If he doesn't do those things, this is probably the last you'll hear of it.
Now you're all caught up.
