I got an incredible amount of hate mail this weekend, not to mention people disagreeing with me in the comments on this site, on Twitter and on Facebook. I even had people tell me, in person, that they didn't agree with what I wrote about Junior Seau on Friday.

I'm here to tell you that it was simply my opinion. You're entitled to yours that same way that I'm entitled to mine, and many of you responded by writing FanPosts about your well thought-out feelings on Junior. Heck, I even pushed one of those to the front page today and it's linked below.

I know many of you know and understand this, but for those that don't.....I'm allowed to have an opinion, and it doesn't mean that I think you're wrong if you disagree with it. I'm not any more important or intelligent or special than any of you just because I have a blog. I'm just someone with some time on his hands.

If you don't agree, that's okay to say. However, some of the things that were said to me this weekend were legitimately mean-spirited and there's no reason for that.
