Big news today as the San Diego Chargers have signed three guys that you've never heard of. They each have a 0.2% chance of making the team.
By my count, the Chargers now have 91 players on their roster. This, of course, means that I'm wrong or that someone is about to be released because NFL teams are only allowed to carry 90 players on their offseason roster. Either way, they're filled up and these three guys are most likely the last signings the Chargers will have for the next three months.
Corey Lynch, who is married to evangelist Billy Graham's granddaughter, played under Rich Bisaccia in Tampa Bay in 2009. If he has a chance to do anything here, it's play special teams.
Phil Trautwein was an two-time All-SEC Tackle and two-time BCS Champion with the Florida Gators. He seems like a big, smart guy and could be an excellent project Tackle to keep on the practice squad in 2012.
Robert Malone, a teammate of Ryan Mathews' at Fresno State, will get a chance in the preseason to show that he can be a starter for another team in the NFL.
