It seems the San Diego Chargers have set their price for Mike Tolbert and have made it known to him. They are apparently still waiting to hear back from Tolbert's camp. It is known that he has received offers from multiple teams and he is still mulling them over at this time.

The position of RB2, which Tolbert would fill, is the last glaring hole on the offensive side of the ball after the Chargers finalized the Eddie Royal deal last night. The team has other options lined up int he event that they cannot bring back the Touchdown Vulture. Foremost among those other options is former Chief Jackie Battle. Battle, like any of the potential replacements, would be a clear step down from Mike Tolbert. In Battle's case, that step down would be most evident in the passing game where he is nowhere near the receiver nor the pass blocker that Mike Tolbert has been during his tenure with the team.

Charger fans are left hoping this situation is resolved soon and that it is resolved by Mike Tolbert returning to the Chargers.
