Local and Pac-10 players for Bolts to consider....

I just read the Chargers would like to find a "Sproles" type in this draft — they might want to think about SDSU's record setting RB Ronnie Hillman.....because of his low profile in the Mountain West - and his lack of elite size - Hillman's destined not to be drafted where he probably should be (2nd to 3rd round)....I think he'll still be available in the 4th so let's hope the Bolts are lucky enough to grab him...another "sproles" type who the Bolts should consider taking even earlier is LaMichael James out of Oregon..James will be an instant threat on special teams and third downs - plus he's an everydown back despite his size - he runs through the tackles and is tough as nails..everybody talked about the amazing LSU defense but James ran for more than 50 yards and caught passes for more than 60 - so he had his usual 100 yard plus day.....that would provide the offense with two dynamic backs and as much as I admire Tolbert and hope we re-sign him - James would bring the offense to another level just like Hillman would....

Other late round picks I'd suggest come from USC and UCLA - Marc Tyler is one heck of a good running back...not flashy just gets the job done...he ran a terrible 40 at the combine and should be there in the 6th or 7th round...another guy is a LB - Chris Gallipo - one of the top players in the country coming out of high-school, he had back injuries his first few years but became a solid player and was almost always in the right place at the right time....he's a 7th round pick or FA who could help on special teams...

UCLA has some ridiculously talented WR's who were victimized by some of the worst QB's in the school's storied history — from Rosario to Embree these guys can play big time football they just need a shot..

.Embree's dad played TE (before becoming a coach who now leads CU) but converting the young Embree to TE might be a Gates-like revelation...

all for now...go Bolts!
