San Diego Chargers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Injury Report

Denny Medley-US PRESSWIRE

Who will and won't play on Sunday when the Chargers travel to Tampa Bay to take on the Bucs?

San Diego Chargers

Doubtful
Antwan Barnes, OLB (hamstring)

Questionable
Jared Gaither, LT (groin)
Corey Liuget, DE (hamstring)
Demorrio Williams, ILB (abdominal)

Probable
Atari Bigby, SS (quad)
Chris Carr, CB/KR (quad)
Robert Meachem, WR (hamstring)
Shaun Phillips, OLB (finger)
Eddie Royal, WR (hamstring)

Jared Gaither and Corey Liuget are the biggest names on this list, and both of them did some light work on the side on Wednesday before missing the rest of the week of practice. That's usually a sign that Norv won't play them, but those two are so important that he probably will if they're good enough to go.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Questionable
Arrelious Benn, WR (shoulder)
Cody Grimm, S (hamstring)

Probable
Michael Bennett, DE (shoulder)
Luke Stocker, TE (shoulder)
Mike Williams, WR (forearm)
Eric Wright, CB (achilles)

Williams will play, and forearm injury won't bother a WR nearly as much as a leg or midsection injury would. The achilles injury might slow down Eric Wright a little, but he usually makes plays with his brain instead of his legs anyway.
