The wide receiver is returning to the Chargers, who claimed him Wednesday off waivers. He's spent the past six games playing for the Jaguars after the Chargers released him Oct. 5 with the intention of bringing back a week later.

Vincent Brown ran sprints, cornered around cones, shuffled and did rapid stop-and-starts on Wednesday at Chargers Park. Brown appeared to close to full speed, a sign that, barring a setback, he is on track to practice soon for the first time since mid-August. The wide receiver broke his left ankle on Aug. 18.
