Just blame Rivers

Stay connected for news and updates

Why not? It's clearly all his fault right?

The supporting cast around Rivers is a joke. Floyd and Gates are decent, but Floyd has always been a supporting player and Gates' body has just fallen apart the last couple years. Outside of those 2? Seriously Ronnie Brown is 2nd on this team in receptions. RONNIE BROWN! Danario Alexander wasn't good enough to be on the St. Louis Rams' roster, and he walks into the Chargers locker room off the street and starts from day 1. Eddie Royal and Meachem have been non factors.

And the offensive line. Did you see that game against Denver? The offense might've looked better without an offensive line. Never mind, I forgot they DIDN'T HAVE ONE!!! Jeremy Clary, if you weren't a gigantic human being capable of killing me with your freakishly large hands I would punch you. And really that's my view on every Charger offensive lineman.

And the running game, the bane of my existence. Ryan Matthews....... Ryan..... Matthews, yep. Of course it's lucky with Ryan Matthews struggles that we have Ronnie Brown and Jackie Battle to pick up the slack, right? Right.....

And Norv. Oh, Norv. The only thing keeping me from hating you is the fact that I never expected much, unlike AJ Smith. And a little off topic but the mistake was not firing Marty, it was hiring Norv and then sticking with him after it became painfully obvious he's not head coach material.

So yeah, let's blame Rivers. It's clearly all his fault. At-least the front 7 has a boat load of young and incredibly talented players in it for who ever the next coach is.
