WR Spurlock Released to Make Room for CB Carr

I think I was the first one, yesterday, to state that Micheal Spurlock could be high on the chopping block for the San Diego Chargers after they signed CB Chris Carr. From the Chargers:

"Chris is an experienced player," said Head Coach Norv Turner. "I was fortunate to be with him for a couple years in Oakland. He's played at a high level in this league. He's been a starter so he brings experience. He can play in the slot and on the outside. He's a good addition for us."
