Hires: What's left? - Bill Williamson
San Diego: The Chargers have the least work to do. They need to hire a linebackers coach to replace John Pagano, who was promoted to defensive coordinator earlier this month.

What’s This "Status Quo" Chargers Movie Mash-up All About? | LobShots
So, the "movie". I don’t get it? I get they’re trying to be funny… an end of the world movie mashed-up with Chargers clips of back-to-back non playoff years. I get the part about Spanos settling for mediocrity by keeping Norv and AJ and blah, blah, blah. I don’t get the purpose of it though? Why is it on a local news station? Who made it? Did Fox5 actually make it? What’s the endgame here?

Has anyone heard anything about potential LB coaches?

They still have Greg (with 2 g's) Williams
He’s been Pagano’s assistant for a while. I’m actually wondering if he can take the job and maybe hand his old job over to Stephen Cooper.

So now I'm seeing what everyone was talking about with Upshaw
and I look forward to seeing him in the Senior Bowl tomorrow. That kid is a beast. He may not be the fastest, but his strength and power seems to be his greatest asset in rushing the passer.
However, it seems like everyone else is seeing the same things, so it’s looking like he’ll end up going in the top 10, most likely the Bills since the Merriman experiment failed. If not, I don’t see him making it past the Cowboys at 14 or the Jets at 16.
Meh, I don't know. I'm not that big an Upshaw fan from watching highlights
I don’t see the explosion I’d like out of an OLB. He seems like a DE in an OLB’s body to my untrained eyes.
Not changing this signature until John Gennaro eats his hat.
I was thinking the same
I don’t think he’s the type of guy to beat with speed, although I think he’s got enough speed to keep Tackles honest. I’m hearing that his strength is converting speed to power: when he starts to go for the edge to get a tackle to widen his stance then convert that rush to power and take advantage of the tackle being off balance and force him back into the QB.
From what I’m hearing, he may not have the upside of other guys in this draft, but he’s probably the most NFL-ready pass rusher at this point. Not only that, but he has the power to hold the edge in the running game. It sounds like he’s the most NFL ready 3-4 OLB we have seen in the last few drafts.
Granted, this is all Senior Bowl hype but really, I’ll put more weight in a Senior bowl performance than a combine track meet without pads. This Senior Bowl has a lot of good prospects on the offensive line on the North Squad and the defensive line/LBs on the South squad, so watch the trenches when the North is on offense to really see the talent.
What?
You dont need much speed when you can absolutely shut down any and everything coming your way this guy sheds blocks like nothing to. Perfect guy to perform against the run and rush the passer….. Speaking on Upshaw that is….

Rams move to Denver or England
