I think we can all agree the 49ers lost because of those jackets. That's bad hoodoo. (Photo by Doug Pensinger/Getty Images)

Chargers Rookie Class In Review - Jeff Williams
One season removed from an NFL Draft is considered too early to effectively evaluate an NFL draft class. There is still plenty of time for draft picks from 2011 to grow into successful NFL players, or to completely fall on their faces, rarely contributing on the playing field. That doesn’t change the fact that the Chargers need impact players now. Did they select any impact players in the 2011 draft?

What to look for at the Senior Bowl - Matt Bowen
The NFP is down in Mobile, Alabama at the Senior Bowl this week. The beginning of the scouting process for some of the top talent in the 2012 NFL Draft. And here is what I am looking for when I watch practice.

What Makes A Great Super Bowl Ad (And An Awful One) - Drew Magary
But above all else, the reason you don't need to stick around for the ads these days is because they've gotten worse. To prove it, I want to show you a list of my five favorite Super Bowl ads. Here we go:

Meeks to be new secondary coach - Kevin Acee
Essentially, Meeks will swap jobs with Steve Wilks, who left the Chargers to become defensive backs coach for the Carolina Panthers. Meeks spent the past three seasons with Carolina, the first two as defensive coordinator and last year coaching the secondary.

2012 Free Agency Preview - Running Backs - Ian Henson
The San Diego Chargers will likely let Mike Tolbert walk this offseason and he could get his tires kicked by the Broncos, anyone thinking of former Chargers need look no further than LaDainian Tomlinson who should sign with the New England Patriots at some point earlier in free agency, but if we're staying in the AFC West I'd say Michael Bush may be the most likely addition to Denver's roster.

Dinosaur Comics - January 23rd, 2012 - Ryan North
Whatever; I had too many friends already anyway

The Sloths are Coming! Behind the Scenes of a New Program on Animal Planet - Joanne Manaster
Watch the most adorable screener, ever. In case you didn’t think cute could get cuter, I’ve present exhibit A!
