Long Snapper David Binn Signs With Denver Broncos
When the Chargers released David Binn in the offseason I think many Bolts backers had hoped he'd ride off into the sunset. He could sit back in a rocking chair, reflect the glory days of playing in a Super Bowl with the blue and gold and know that his was a good long career as just a San Diego Chargers. Today, we have found out that will not be the case. The Broncos official twitter sent out this blast:
The #Broncos have signed long snapper David Binn, who will wear #54. He is in his 18th NFL season, having spent the first 17 with San Diego.
I'm sure plenty of you were already going to tune into the game, but maybe this is extra added interest for Chargers fans. Perhaps you'll root for Binn in hopes that he can get a Super Bowl ring. Perhaps you want to root against him because he's tainting his Chargers legacy. Whatever your feelings, it adds a little bit more intrigue to the game.

I'll always wish Binn well
I hope he gets plenty of chances to show his stuff tomorrow, threading at least a dozen perfect spirals 13 yards back to the Bronco’s punter.

Paxton stayed home to support his wife in complications with her pregnancy (twins)
Some things are (way) more important than a playoff run. All the best to him and Binn.

I wish him well
I hope he does get a ring. I just don’t want it to be with an AFC West rival.
That would be a great name for an album!

First Ja-Wall, now Binn.
The Donkeys just laid down the Griptonite, ‘cause that’s a slap in the face.

San Diego may be where Denverites go to retire …
… but Denver is where great Chargers go to die.
