The StarCaps suspensions from what seem like a decade ago are finally being enforced, and not a moment too soon for the San Diego Chargers.
Kevin Williams, the Minnesota Vikings star DT, will miss the first two games of the season including the Week 1 matchup in San Diego. The six-time Pro Bowler being out of the lineup means the Chargers can focus more on stopping Jared Allen from getting to Philip Rivers.
The sound you hear is Norv Turner shouting for Ryan Mathews and Mike Tolbert to get into the film room ASAP. The running game should be able to provide a more balanced attack with the Vikings best run-stopper watching from home.
