A Dolphins Fan's Assessment of the Bolts

The Charger's have an amazing passing game because of Philip Rivers. There is no debating this, the guy is an amazing quarterback that is severely underrated. I personally think that they need a better number 2 receiver, although Malcolm Floyd could be the man to do this.

I actually like Ryan Matthews and personally think that he should just be the featured back, with Mike Tolbert taking goal line snaps. But their offensive line needs a little bit of work, both for the run game and pass protection

Oh and did I mention that Philip Rivers is amazing?

I see the defense as the biggest weakness of the Chargers. Eric Weddle is a beast of a safety, and Jammer is a man, but their other safety and other Carson, not so much. Their run defense is not the greatest, and they need better pass rush

I think that Norv Turner is a good coach, but I don't know if he will be the one to take the chargers to the super bowl.

It is a shame that you guys lost Nate Kaeding, obviously your special teams had enough trouble before that happened

Finally, Philip Rivers is damn good quarterback.

Overall I see the chargers with about 12 wins give or take 1 (loses/close games to Green Bay, Chicago, Baltimore, the Dolphins, and one other random team)

Good luck to the season, I love the Chargers (and Philip Rivers if you couldn't tell).
