It seems like he's been a productive #2 or #3 WR with the Jets pretty much his entire career. He played with Rivers at NC State. He's only 29 years old, so he likely has a few productive seasons left assuming he can remain healthy. He seems pretty durable as he's only missed 4 games the last 3 seasons. He seems like he would be a solid veteran addition and would really round out the WR corps in San Diego.
We wouldn't have to rely on the young WRs and they could continue to develop (Tutu, Brown, Goodman).
I think this could make a lot of sense.
