Podcast: Chargers Free Agents and Trade Market

Let this mark the beginning of my love-affair with Mathias Kiwanuka. (Photo by Jim McIsaac/Getty Images)

Would you look at that? A semi-regular podcast! Even with absolutely nothing going on in the NFL world.

This week, after looking through your questions and realized they were all roughly about the same topic, Steve Adler and myself took a look at what the roster might look like at the beginning of the 2011 NFL season (should there be one). We discussed:

  • Free agency and how it's different this year than other years (and who is benefiting from that the most)
  • Free agents that the Chargers might be looking into (including a couple of pass-rushers that I am probably too excited about)
  • 2010 Chargers players that might end up on other teams after not being signed or being released by San Diego.
  • What the current "trade market" is like and if there's anyone out there that could land on the Bolts (Steve Smith is mentioned)

Click the link above to listen to the podcast ("High Boltage Radio on Bolts From The Blue"....I'll get the hang of that eventually). As always, feedback is appreciated. Unless you're just going to tell me that we both sound tired, at which point I will explain that this was recorded at midnight after an exhausting night of Rizzomania. Stupid busy schedules.
