(Roger Goodell) is a blatant liar. ...He doesn't care about the players.
Part of Kevin Burnett's airtime on XX1090, according to Kevin Acee.
Burnett is proving himself to be a bit of an outspoken player.

Wow
That’s pretty ridiculous
"This team is going to win regardless of if I get 15 points or if I get four points. That’s the kind of team we are," he said. "But this team won’t win if we don’t have defensive toughness on the inside. I just think that’s the biggest thing I can bring." – Andrew Bynum

Actually
It’s not different from what many other players were saying when Goodell and the owners first start pushing for 18 regular season games.

I agree
I didn’t follow much of his logic. He basically imagined this perfect version of he wants the commissioner to be and blames Goodell for not being that. Even though I’m pretty sure Goodell works for the owners and is doing exactly what he was hired to do.

I always knew I liked Burnett
I guess Spanos will be looking even harder at ILB’s in the draft now.

I would have no problem knowing what all 2000 players feel
about Roger Goodell. I’d love to know.

Anyone know the thinking behind
The nflpa asking players to boycott the draft?

They want the prospects to show solidarity
and to give the NFL a black eye, I imagine. Kind of silly and meaningless, I think, but there you go.

Especially since it sounds like not all the draftees will follow orders
Which makes the union look as weak as it did back when their members crossed the picket lines to play with replacement players.

Two days later, this is a national story
on ESPN, ESPN Radio, National Football Post, after making PFT yesterday. That’s incredibly slow news travel in this day and age.

his comments really arent that bad if you hear the interview
I think it sounds a lot worse in print. heres the actually interview if anyone is interested. http://www.xx1090sandiego.com/common/global_audio/40/27900.mp3
In print it comes off as passionate, angry and outspoken
On the radio it just sounds like a guy speaking on-the-cuff.
