Injury Report: San Diego Chargers at Detroit Lions

Photo

San Diego Chargers

Out
Travis LaBoy, OLB (Knee)

Questionable
Antonio Garay, DT (Toe)
Vincent Jackson, WR (Groin)

Probable
Donald Butler, ILB (Foot)

Most Chargers fans will agree that LaBoy missing this game might actually help the team more than it hurts it. More time on the field for Antwan Barnes means more chances of Matthew Stafford getting sacked.

Star-divide

Detroit Lions

Doubtful
Aaron Berry, CB (Shoulder)
Louis Delmas, S (Knee)

Questionable
Nick Fairley, DT (Foot)
Corey Williams, DT (Hip)

Probable
Don Carey, CB (Concussion)
Gosder Cherilus, OT (Hamstring)
Justin Durant, LB (Hamstring)
Chris Harris, S (Concussion)
Chris Houston, CB (Knee)
Lawrence Jackson, DE (Thigh)
Rob Sims, OG (Shoulder)
Kevin Smith, RB (Ankle)
Amari Spievey, S (Knee)
Kyle Vanden Bosch, DE (Neck)
Willie Young, DE (Ankle)

That is a lot of guys dinged up for a team that is probably heading into the playoffs. Fairley has been hurt all season, it seems, and it would be beneficial for him to miss this game. Louis Delmas is the most dangerous player in Detroit's backfield and the biggest interception threat for Philip Rivers, so him being "doubtful" should help the San Diego passing game.

In my eyes, everyone that is quesitonable at this point in the season will play.

Kinda random but, what should Norv/Manusky give to Calvin? Triple team, double, single, quadruple???

Its all about 18

Nothing is going to help,

just enjoy the show while Calvin runs all over your team. Good luck with all that! 52 pass attempts, 400 yards, 4 touchdowns, 2 sacks. Your pass rushers will be handled, and our fast paced offense will beat your defense down just like they did against the Raiders. 40 sacks along the defensive line. Long day ahead. The teams the Lions lost to are all in the playoffs except for the Bears. Game over.

You're right.

Your team is invincible, especially your quarterback.

I don't know where you get your info from

but Delmas is not the biggest interception threat for the Lions. He doesn’t even have one this year, but Chris Houston and Eric Wright have four INTs each. Watch out for Alphonso Smith, too — he’s a ball hawk who lead the team in INTs last year and picked up a two in the last two games.

No slogans. Just win!!!

I did not realize

how cocky lions fans are.

Even moderate success, after years of abject failure, will do that to some people.

Frankly, Suh's filthy playing style is waht has me worried more than anything else

I know how Conrad Dobler, Art Shell, Anthony Munoz, and Will Shields would have dealt with head hunting DL’s in the day and hope it does not come to that for the boy named Suh…

North Texas REALLY needs a Rubio's franchise.
