How are you doing this fine Monday morning? Well I hope. While your having your first cup of joe, you might want to grab your computer and open up Yahoo Sports and check out Michael Silver's Morning Rush concerning the GM position here in Bolt-land. I don't usually completely agree with Michael, but this time I think he hit the nail on the head. I can sympathize with you that owning/operating an NFL franchise isn't for wussys, but sometimes you gotta put on your big boy pants, man up, and do what needs to be done. Your the head dude and you need to do head dude stuff...A.J. has gotta go! The San Diego Super Chargers aren't so super any more and if the fickle finger of fate needs to be pointed, it needs to pointed at good old A.J. His over-the-top ego and 'it's my way or the highway' way of thinking is taking a potentially top tier team and putting it firmly in the middle tier heading towards the bottom tier. We need players to not only to not abandon ship (Darren Sproles) but players that WANT to play here and not just fulfill a contract before moving on to a team that really wants them. Is A.J. Smith helping this team or killing it? My vote goes to the killing part. Enjoy your morning coffee Dean, but maybe later on today would be a good time to think about the team, the fans that pay the bills and your teams General Manager. Those big boy pants are waiting!
