The train is leaving the station

It's pretty much a fore gone conclusion that if ole Norv doesn't turn this season around, and turn it around quick, his tenure in Diego is history. He has proved in the past that he can and my hopes are with him. Why? Well, I like Norv! He has a great football mind and is regarded around the league as one of the best, if not the best, play caller in the business, and seems like a class guy (unlike some other coaches that act like spoiled, mouthy, arrogant little kids). I know, I know, that last part will probably bring some slightly unkind comments, but it's the truth none the less. Norv is a good fit for the Bolts but unless the wins start coming in and we make the playoffs, it's adios amigo. Then, A.J. has to make some serious decisions. Will he hire some unknown at a bargain price or a known coach with a history of loosing, or does he do what it takes to make an almost winning team into one that can bring home the bacon. One name has consistently popped up as a possible replacement, and that name is  Bill Cowher. He reportedly is getting that itch to coach again, only this time in warmer climes than Pittsburgh has to offer, and has a clause in his contract with a certain TV network that stipulates that if a coaching job is to rear it's ugly head, he is free to accept it. Good fit? Not as good as Norv, but maybe, just maybe, A.J. will think with his head and not his wallet and ego and do what it takes to bring the Bolts to the top and not just near the top. I'm rooting for you Norv and thats the truth, but the train is leaving the station and you need to light a fire under your team if you want to stay on board.
