Orton tossed...Broncos elope with Tebow, even though the sex was "not that good"

What a crazy season for the supposed worst team ever, Denver Broncos. Who'd a thunk they would have become so infatuated with Tebow, the Broncs would cut Orton loose while they are still in the mix...

Denver dislikes Kyle Orton so much, they are willing to let him go to the Chiefs (or Bears or Texans) who are now in desperate need of a QB. Elway and company have gone "all in" with Tebow. That is a crazy bet (jack high?) with everything on the line. Now, if the Charger's D can just do what it does best...and end Tebow's season early - throwing the hated Broncos' into a permanent death spiral. That will get us closer to even; considering all the times Elway pulled a win out of his ass with five minutes left in the fourth quarter and in the grasp. One can only hope that this relationship ends up like your new bride is a bed-wetter.

"Orton is subject to the waiver rules because he was released after the trade deadline. If another team claims him, it will be responsible for about $3 million in salary, which is what remains of his roughly $9 million contract for 2011. If nobody claims him, he'll be free to sign with anybody."

Orton wasn't going to be Bronco after this year anyway

He was a free agent, by releasing him the Broncos will save about 3 million in cash. Even if Tebow gets benched this year Brady Quinn was his supposed replacement. John Elway went on record as saying Orton asked for his release so he could play for a team that lost their QB and he might be able to start again this year.

Yes

Orton is a good quarterback when you can protect him. Has KC done anything this season to suggest they can protect their QB. Matt Cassell was running for his life out there and is much more athletic than Orton. I like our chances if the division is on the line against Orton and KC. I wish him the best but we need to move forward with Tebow and whoever else we draft/sign at QB.

San Diego should be more worried with Von Miller ending Rivers season early. If Phil is playing injured already???

Either way, with San Diego’s sorry and injured line, Von is going to get three or four big shots on Rivers tomorrow. Will be fun to watch Phil eat dirt a time or seven.

this has nothing to do with SD...we are done for the season

it has everything to do with giving an opponent in the same division (KC) an opportunity to beat you

Pitt at KC
KC at Chicago
KC at NYJ
Green Bay at KC
Raiders at KC
KC at Denver

They will be 4-10 before you know it and their season will be completely over save for the hopes they land Matt Barkley
